Battalion releases home playoff dates
BRAMPTON, Ont. – The Brampton Battalion will play the first home game of its best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 27, regardless of the opponent, the Ontario Hockey League club announced Friday.
The Battalion, currently in sixth place in the conference and hosting the even-numbered games in any series, has the same home schedule for each of three possible first-round matchups. The second home playoff game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, and a third, if necessary, for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3.
The Troops, who have three games left in the regular season, will meet one of the Niagara IceDogs, Oshawa Generals and Ottawa 67’s in the first playoff round.
The Battalion visits the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Oshawa at 7:05 p.m. Saturday before hosting the Belleville Bulls at 2 p.m. Sunday, the last day of the regular season.
