Minor Hockey Fundraising Ticket Program Policy
Purpose
To support minor hockey teams in their fundraising efforts by offering a discounted ticket block purchase program for select home games hosted by the North Bay Battalion Hockey Club.
Eligibility
- Open to all registered minor hockey teams within North Bay and surrounding areas.
- Teams must be affiliated with a recognized minor hockey association.
Program Details
- Eligible teams may select any one home game during the regular season.
- Teams may purchase a block of 50 to 250 tickets at a discounted rate of $13.50 per ticket.
- Teams are permitted to resell tickets at a recommended price of $26.50, retaining the difference as fundraising revenue.
Application Process
- Teams must submit a request via email to the North Bay Battalion Hockey Club at least three weeks prior to the desired game date.
- Requests should include:
- Team name and association
- Preferred game date
- Number of tickets requested
- Contact information for the team representative
Ticket Distribution and Payment
- Upon approval, an invoice will be issued to the team for the total ticket cost.
- Payment must be received no later than one week prior to the game.
- Tickets will be distributed electronically or available for pickup at the Battalion Headquarters.
Resale Guidelines
- Teams are responsible for managing their own resale process.
- The recommended resale price is $26.50 per ticket (adult), $19.50 (child), $22.75 (student/senior).
- Teams must ensure that resale practices comply with local laws and association guidelines.
Marketing Support
- Participating teams may receive promotional support including:
- Mention on the Battalion’s social media channels
- Opportunity for team recognition during the selected game
Limitations
- Only one fundraising block per team per season.
- Ticket blocks are subject to availability and approval by the North Bay Battalion Hockey Club.
