GAME WEEK: Hockey Returns to the Capital
The Ottawa 67’s are set for a two-game weekend, beginning on the road Saturday night before returning to the capital for their 2026-27 Home Opener on Sunday afternoon.
Coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Kingston Frontenacs in their season opener, the Barber Poles head to Peterborough for their first matchup of the season against the Petes before welcoming the Sarnia Sting to TD Place less than 24 hours later.

The 67’s head to Peterborough on Saturday night for the first of eight meetings with the Petes this season.
Ottawa found success in the season series last year, posting a 5-2-1-0 record against Peterborough during the 2025-26 regular season.
The Petes opened their 2026-27 campaign with two losses and face a busy stretch leading into Saturday’s matchup. Peterborough hosts the Sarnia Sting on Thursday before taking on the Brantford Bulldogs on Friday, with Saturday’s meeting against Ottawa marking its third game in as many days.

Hockey returns to the capital on Sunday afternoon, as the 67’s welcome the Sarnia Sting to TD Place for their 2026-27 Home Opener.
Sunday marks the first of two meetings between Ottawa and Sarnia this season. The 67’s went a perfect 2-0 against the Sting last season, earning a 9-3 win on home ice on November 14 before closing out the season series with a 5-0 shutout victory at Progressive Auto Sales Arena on March 1.
As part of the organization’s recognition of Truth and Reconciliation, fans will receive a commemorative poster created by Haudenosaunee artist Kory Parkin of Paints by Parkin. The pre-game ceremony will also feature a trilingual national anthem.
The Home Opener will also mark the debut of this season’s Fan First Menu, with no price increases from last season. Following the game, fans can join the Barber Poles on the ice for the first time this season at The Arena at TD Place for a free post-game skate, with registration available when securing tickets on Ticketmaster.
