Suspension imposed to Poudrier
The Québec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefect, Mr Maurice Filion, announced this afternoon a suspension of three games to centre Thiery Poudrier from the Shawinigan Cataractes.
The incident happened while the Shawinigan Cataractes were visiting the Foreurs in Val-d’Or on Friday, September 27, 2002. During the game, Cataractes’ player Thiery Poudrier received penalty codes 2-50, 5-50 for crosschecking from behind.
After watching the tape and reading the game Official report, the Disciplinary Prefect imposed a suspension of three games to Poudrier; automatic game has been already served.
The suspension is effective starting today, Thursday October 3, 2002.
