Quebec Remparts fined

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, October 3, 2007 The Commissioner of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, today imposed a $1,000 fine to the Quebec Remparts organization for inappropriate comments made by their head coach, Patrick Roy, which were directed at League on-ice officials following last Sunday’s game in Quebec City. The decision was rendered after consulting all concerned parties.

In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, there will be no further comment.
