Scholastic Players of the Month | Jacob Hudson Profile
Over the past two years, Jacob Hudson has grown so much as a student that he’s become one of the top performing students on the Moncton Wildcats.
Jacob’s marks have steadily been climbing since the fall of 2019. So far this school year, he has already completed three of his courses at University of New Brunswick successfully, including two with an A grade and one with a B+.
As a 20-year-old and the team captain, Jacob is a clear leader in the classroom. He can always be depended on to show up early to class and to manage his time wisely in his self-paced online courses.
He has become very efficient with his time, so much so that he was able to finish one of his winter courses ahead of schedule. That’s why the forward decided to pick up a third course this semester, which will also help prepare him as he heads to university as a full-time student and hockey player next year.
Jacob has explored both business and sciences in his courses up to this point and has chosen to combine them in the future by enrolling in a sports management program as of next year. He has been approached by several universities who are already interested in having him as a student-athlete on their campus next season.
Keep up the good work Jacob!
