Rosters revealed for first phase of 2024 QMJHL Cup
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League will hold the first leg of the 2024 QMJHL Cup in Dieppe, New Brunswick this weekend.
As in previous years, the tournament will bring together the top prospects from each of the Atlantic provinces. This is the first opportunity for league scouts to evaluate these prospects, who are eligible for the 2024 QMJHL Entry Draft presented by Fenplast.
League staff will also take advantage of the opportunity to hold information sessions for parents of U15 and U16 players, as well as answer any questions they may have about the circuit.
For the first time this year, the Maritimes prospects will play on teams named after QMJHL alumni from their respective provinces. Prince Edward Island players will form Team Gerard Gallant, New Brunswick hopefuls will be Team Luc-Bourdon, Nova Scotia players will represent Team Cam Russell, while Newfoundland and Labrador prospects will play for Team Zach O’Brien.
