Roster announced for Rookie Challenge

The Halifax Mooseheads will be back to defend their title in Moncton when the Rookie Challenge kicks off in New Brunswick’s hub city on Friday, August 18th. Halifax will take a roster of 25 players (13 forwards, 9 defencemen, 3 goalies) to the three-day tournament which features all teams from the QMJHL’s Maritimes Division. All games will be held at the Superior Propane Centre.

Tickets for the Rookie Challenge can be purchased by phone at (506) 382-5555. There are tournament passes for sale, which include all 9 games. Single day passes are also available which will grant you access to the three games played that day.

The Mooseheads will open the event with a matchup against the Saint John Sea Dogs on Friday, August 18th at 4pm. Halifax will face the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Saturday at 1pm while the opponent and game-time on Sunday will be determined by the standings.
