QMJHL unveils the winners of the win your backyard rink contest
The QMJHL is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2023 “Win your backyard rink contest” in collaboration with Maxi.
“The enthusiasm for this contest keeps growing year after year,” shared QMJHL Chief Marketing Officer, Karl Jahnke. “Almost twelve hundred families across the Province of Quebec shared a video of their backyard along with a short message as to why they should win one of two rinks up for grabs. Although choosing the two winning families is always difficult, I am happy to announce that the Gignac family from Quebec and the Tessier family from Mauricie are the winners of the contest.”
“At Maxi, we’re delighted to support the families that are as passionate about hockey as we are and happy to help these families achieve their dreams by offering them a backyard rink. We’re impatient at the thought of seeing the smiles on their faces as the Gignac and Tessier families put on their stakes and enjoy some winter fun,” said Patrick Blanchette, Vice-President, Business Operations at Maxi.
