Natacha Llorens leaves the QMJHL after nearly 20 Years of service
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) announces the departure of its Director of Player Services, Natacha Llorens, an iconic figure who played an essential role in the organization for nearly 20 years, with 15 years as a full-time employee.
Natacha Llorens has left her mark in the world of junior hockey, making invaluable contributions to the League and the well-being of its players. She began her career in the QMJHL following a stop with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and joined the QMJHL on a full-time basis thereafter. Since then, she has devoted her career to improving the Player Support and Education Programs, both critical to the well-being and success of young student-athletes.
Among Natacha’s notable achievements, she was the first person to oversee a player support program within the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). She also took over from Denis Arsenault in managing the Academic and Scholarship programs, after working closely alongside with him.
Over the years, the former RCMP criminologist gained the trust of players, agents, parents, team management, and owners. Her unwavering passion and dedication to the development of players have left a lasting impression, and her legacy will continue through the league’s ongoing commitment to the development and well-being of its players.
