Linesman David Rodrigue reaches the 500-game milestone
On behalf of the entire QMJHL family, we would like to congratulate linesman David Rodrigue who will be working in the 500th game of his career during tonight’s matchup between the Charlottetown Islanders and Shawinigan Cataractes.
Through his 19 seasons of experience in the league, David Rodrigue has worked in 471 regular season games and 28 playoff games before today.
The 43-year-old native of Trois-Rivières, Quebec also participated in the 2008 Canada-Russia Series in Saint John, as well as the 2013 edition held in Gatineau.
Rodrigue was also able to take advantage of exceptional conditions by being on hand for one of the games played during the 2018 QMJHL Winter Classic, held in Drummondville.
The QMJHL wishes to highlight the excellent work of this official as well as the professionalism he has demonstrated, both on and off the ice, since the early days of his career.
