26 players join the QMJHL as part of 2021 CHL Import Draft

 

A total of 26 players were selected by QMJHL teams during the 2021 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft on Wednesday afternoon.

The Baie-Comeau Drakkar got the ball rolling by selecting Latvian defenseman Niks Fenenko with the first overall pick of the virtual auction.

With two European players already in their lineup ahead of next season, the Halifax Mooseheads were the only QMJHL franchise to pass in the first round of the draft.
