Cataractes awarded with Robert-Lebel and Kevin Lowe trophies
It was during pre-game ceremonies that the Shawinigan Cataractes received the Robert-Lebel trophy, awarded annually to the team in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with the lowest goals against average in the regular season. Also, Cataractes’ Morgan Ellis received the Kevin-Lowe trophy as the best defensive defenceman. The award is named after Kevin Lowe, an alumnus of the Quebec Remparts, a seven-time NHL all-star defenseman, and a six-time Stanley Cup winner for the Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers.
