Scholastic Player of the Month | November, 2019 | Félix Bibeau (Quebec)
Quebec Remparts team captain Félix Bibeau is definitely a leader on the ice. But few people know that he also displays leadership in the classroom.
The 20-year-old veteran is in his first season with the Remparts after being traded by the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies last summer. After getting his hands on the President Cup and Memorial Cup in 2018-2019, Bibeau wasted no time to make his mark on his new squad.
Up to this point, he leads the Remparts in points with a total of 16 goals and 16 assists in 30 games played this season. He’s been equally as good in his social science program at Cégep de Limoilou.
Despite the fact that a participation in New York Islanders training camp delayed his arrival in Quebec City at the start of the season, Bibeau currently maintains a superb 85% average at school. He’s also up to date in each one of his courses and is looking to earn his Cégep degree over the winter.
