Wildcats Win Their 5th Straight
The Moncton Wildcats rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Halifax Mooseheads 3-2 at Scotiabank Center before 7,500 fans.
The game’s first star Conor Garland scored twice and set up Manuel Wiederer for his 17th of the season. Wiederer, Cameron Askew and Austin Kosack each recorded two points in the victory. Goaltender Keven Bouchard got the win in his Wildcats debut with 26 saves.
Defenceman Cody Donaghey also made his debut along the blueline. Moncton improves to 25-10-4 sitting at 54 points atop the Maritime Division. The Cats play in Charlottetown Wednesday night and host the Acadie-Bathurst Titan New Year’s Eve at 2:00 p.m. Doors will open at noon for our family fun zone with bouncy castles, games and face painters, game ticket gets you into all of the activities!
