Wildcats Win 7-4 over Québec
It was a high scoring game for the Moncton Wildcats as they came out on top with a dominant 7-4 win over the Québec Remparts Friday night in Moncton. Vaclav Karabacek made his Wildcats debut tonight, recording a goal and an assist. Other Wildcat goals came courtesy of Liam Murphy (9th), Kelly Klima (19th), while Kevin Klima and Manuel Wiederer both found the back of the net twice tonight, making that 18 for Kevin on the season and 22 for Manuel.
Conor Garland added four assists to bring his point total up to 96 this season; Cody Donaghey also had a strong night for the Cats putting up three assists in the game. Keven Bouchard was in nets for Moncton turning away 21 shots, while Moncton had 37 shots on both Québec goalies, Callum Booth and Evgeny Kiselev.
The Wildcats are back in action tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. vs. the Charlottetown Islanders. It’s our annual Teddy Bear Toss game so please bring a teddy bear in a clear plastic bag with you to throw on the ice after the first Wildcats goal!
