On Friday the Wildcats fell 1-0 to the Sags in front 2685 at the Centre Georges-Vezina in Chicoutimi. Guillaume Asselin scored the only goal of the game with only 1:37 remaining in the 3rd. Francois Desrosiers makes 30 saves for the shutout, while Alex Dubeau makes 21 saves in the loss for the Wildcats.
On Saturday the Wildcats improved to 3-4 on the season with a 7-4 victory in Baie-Comeau vs Drakkar. Dmitrij Jaskin & Ryan Penny led the Cats offense with 2 goals each. Ross Johnston, Mark Tremaine & Yannick Veilleux adding singles.Wildcats outshot Drakkar 33-24, Alex Dubeau makes 20 saves in the win.
Wildcats return to action Wednesday 7pm start in Halifax vs Mooseheads and are back at home on Friday vs. Val D’or.
