Bathurst opened the scoring early in the first with 1:10 on the clock. Daniel Petterson replied for Moncton at 13:51 on a power play from Bissionette and Savard.

rThe second period belonged to the Wildcats. Matt Eagles netted a goal at 6:13 o na pass from Cameron and Lessard. Paul Dimitruk scored what would turn into the game winner unassited at 10:32.

rZach Sill jumped into the scoring with a fast goal just 15 seconds into the third. Bathurst put their last one of the night past Riopel at 6:17. Moncton replied with three goals. One by Randy Cameron from Eagles at 10:24, one by Mark Barberio from Cameron at 14:10 and the final goal of the night to Scott Brannon from Lessard and Sill at 15:22.
