Come for the ball hockey, stay for the Fan Fest! Everyone welcome!
Registration is now open for the 2025 Cats Cup on Saturday, September 13! The tournament is open to children ages 5-10.
There are 3 age divisions — ages 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 — with 8 teams in each division. You can sign up your individual child or a 3-person team by filling out the form below. Registration deadline is September 6, or when all spots are filled.
NOTE: All divisions are now full.
Following the ball hockey games, we will host the Wildcats Fan Fest with Wildcats autograph session, bouncy castles, french fry truck & live music at the Avenir Centre Oval! You can also have your picture taken with the Gilles-Courteau QMJHL Championship Trophy!
Cats Cup Rules
- All players MUST wear a helmet with facemask to play. Hockey gloves are also encouraged.
- Games are 12 minutes in length
- 3 players per team. Eight teams per division.
- Age divisions are 5-6, 7-8 & 9-10
- Games are played 3 on 3
- 3 points are awarded for a win. 1 point for a tie
- The teams with the most points in each division will go to the final.
- In case of a tie, we will look at the goals for and against differential.
- Games are played with orange hockey ball
- No Slapshots. Goals will not count if scored with a slapshot.
- No off-side
- The referee in place will make the calls
- The goal for this tournament is to have FUN!
