Volts in WildTown for Thursday's Student Night

Volts in WildTown for Thursday’s Student Night

October 6, 2026

The Wildcats had their win streak snapped last Sunday, so are looking to start another one when the Voltigeurs are in WildTown Thursday evening. Its the first of 4 home games in a row and it’s also Student Spirit Night. Fans can save $5 off the regular ticket price when purchasing online and using passcode ‘Student’.

The night will feature student-centred intermission games like trivia, dodgeball & section battles.

The Cats come into Thursday’s game near the top of the QMJHL standings with a 5-1 record and the league’s top powerplay (45%). Liam Kilfoil (4G, 5A), Rian CHudzinski (4G, 5A) and Shayne Gould (1G, 8A) lead the Cats offense with 9 points each. Sharpshooting 20 year-old Niko Tournas has 7 goals in 6 games.

Drummondville (1-4) have struggled out of the gate and are on a 4-game Maritime road swing (we play them 3rd). The Volts sit last in the West and 17th overall.

Sophomore Slovakian & defenceman Filip Kovalcik has 5 points (2G, 3A) to lead the Voltigeurs’ offense. Czech keeper Jan Larys (3.70 GAA, .889 SV%) has carried the load with 4 appearances and the team’s lone win.
