Wildcats Sign Forward Jeremy McKenna
MONCTON N.B. – The Wildcats are excited to announce the signing of forward, Jeremy McKenna to the Moncton organization. Born in Alberta, Jeremy played this past season with EC Salzburg and their U-18 team, playing 24 games he recorded 17 goals and 23 assists for a total of 40 points. He also played on their U-20 team for 8 regular season games recording 11 points, and two more in four playoff games.
Director of Hockey Operations, Roger Shannon had this to say about Jeremy joining the team. “Jeremy is the kind of player who knows how to score and he led his team in the Austrian league this year; if he is not putting the puck in the back of the net himself, he is finding the right guys on the ice to do so. He is projected to be a top 6 forward and that’s what we need, we are very pleased to have him before the draft. Over this past week we have been able to fill a few holes, both Jeremy and Adam will be two great additions to the team. “
We look forward to having Jeremy join us as a part of the Moncton Wildcats this coming season.
