9th annual RBC Reading is Wild Program
The Moncton Wildcats have announced the participating schools in the 9th annual RBC Reading is Wild Program. Representing School District 1 is École Anna-Melanfant of Dieppe and representing School District 2 is Gunningsville School in Riverview. An invitation to participate in the program was sent out to all schools in districts one and two. Two schools were selected from those who applied. The program begins in the schools on Monday, January 29, 2007 for five weeks. There will be an official launch at each school to kick off the program. Some Wildcat players and staff will be in attendance as well as a delegate from RBC. The launch at École Anna-Melanfant will take place at 11 am on Thursday February 1. The Gunningsville School launch will take place on Thursday February 8 at 11 am. You can follow the weekly progress of these schools as well as the total number of books read by each school on the Wildcats website www.moncton-wildcats.com starting on Friday, February 2, 2007.
