2016-2017 Regular Season Schedule Released
MONCTON N.B. – The QMJHL has released the regular season schedule for the upcoming 2016-2017 season!
The Moncton Wildcats will open the season on home ice Friday September 23rd against the Halifax Mooseheads. The 68 game regular season schedule will see the Cats at home for 34 games, and on the road for the remaining 34. All of the Wildcats weekday games will be at 7:00 p.m. (with the exception of the game on New Year’s Eve.) Saturday’s games have moved back to a 7:00 p.m. puck drop with the exception of four games, which will be played at 4:00 p.m.
“This year we have 10 afternoon games as opposed to the 23 we had last year,” said Director of Business Operations, Ryan Jenner. “ After much discussion with our fans we believe this is a much more balanced schedule which will be good for both families and our Season Ticket Members. We are looking forward to seeing everyone back for another exciting season at the Coliseum!”
This year the season will begin two weeks later than it has in previous years.
