QMJHL unveils 2023-24 regular season schedule
As the Quebec Remparts get ready for the 2023 Memorial Cup Final, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) today released its 2023-2024 regular season schedule, promising an action-packed season for hockey fans across Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
The 612-game campaign is set to kick off on Friday, September 22, 2023 with fourteen teams hitting the ice on opening night.
The Commissioner’s office carefully crafted the schedule, with the bulk of games being played on weekends in order to maximize fan engagement while ensuring that players can prioritize academics. A total of 88% of the games have been scheduled between Thursdays and Sundays, as well as on holidays.
The QMJHL has scheduled a well-deserved break from December 17 to December 27, allowing players to recharge and spend time with loved ones during the Holidays. A few days later, fans will have ample reason to celebrate on New Year’s Eve, with all 18 teams hitting the ice.
The regular season ends on Saturday, March 23 with a full slate of games.
