Sea Dogs announce 2026 Training Camp details

SAINT JOHN, N.B. – The Saint John Sea Dogs announced on Wednesday the roster for the team’s 2026 training camp, which begins this weekend at the Quispamsis qplex.

Training camp begins Friday, August 21st with player registration. On-ice activities get underway on Saturday with rookies and free agent invites hitting the ice at 10:30 a.m. The first day of training camp will be open exclusively to 2026-27 Season Ticket Members as part of their benefits package, with the remainder of the schedule open to the general public. The preseason schedule begins Wednesday, August 26th at 7:00 p.m. against the Moncton Wildcats at the Garcelon Civic Center in St. Stephen. Click here for the full preseason schedule.

Among the 53 players reporting to camp, there are 13 free agent invites. All 10 of the team’s selections from the 2026 QMJHL Draft will be attending their first QMJHL training camp along with eight players drafted by the Sea Dogs in 2025. In total, the roster features 28 forwards, 16 defencemen, and nine goaltenders.

Veterans and returning players will report to phase two of training camp on Monday, August 24th, joining the players that are selected to continue following the first phase of camp.
