RECAP: Sea Dogs end road trip with loss to Remparts
QUEBEC CITY, QC – The Saint John Sea Dogs closed out their three-game road trip with a 5-1 loss to the Quebec Remparts at Centre Vidéotron on Saturday. Saint John had won the first two on the swing, but ran out of steam in the finale.
Quebec opened the scoring at 15:20 of the first to take a 1-0 lead into the intermission.
Saint John tied it 33 seconds into the second when Alex Donovan snapped home his 11th of the year off a feed from Max Vilen. The Remparts answered with three straight in the period to go up 4-1 after 40 minutes.
Quebec added a power play goal in the final frame to finish off the 5-1 win.
