The Olympiques recall two players
GATINEAU – Gatineau Olympiques general manager Serge Beausoleil recalled forwards Benjamin Chabot and Gabriel Séguin on Thursday morning, both of whom will join the team in Abitibi for games against the Val D’or Foreurs (Friday) and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (Saturday).
Chabot, 18, currently plays for the Collège Champlain Lions in the collegiate league. The 5’7″ forward has 40 points (16 goals, 24 assists) in 18 games in 2023-2024.
Gabriel Séguin plays for the Châteauguay Grenadiers in Quebec’s midget AAA field hockey league. The 17-year-old forward has collected 33 points (21 goals, 12 assists) in 27 games.
In addition, the Olympiques have redirected forward Jaden Reyers to their junior team. The organization would like to thank Jayden for his involvement with the team, and at the same time wish him the best of luck for the future.
