Iain Wintle joins the Gatineau Olympiques

GATINEAU – The Gatineau Olympiques’ General Manager Serge Beausoleil announced Wednesday the signing of goaltender Iain Wintle.

The 19-year-old spent the past two seasons with the Niagara Falls Canucks of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

The Bowmanvillle, Ontario-born goaltender maintained a 2.91 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage in 9 games this season. He recorded 6 wins and 2 losses.

Note that Iain Wintle will be travelling with the team this week, and could get a start.
