Broadcast Partnership announced with JACK 92.9

HALIFAX, NS — The Halifax Mooseheads have announced a new broadcast partnership with JACK 92.9 (CFLT-FM) that will make the station the official home of Mooseheads hockey for the 2026-27 Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League season.
Under the agreement, JACK 92.9 will broadcast all 64 Halifax Mooseheads regular season games, as well as the team’s complete playoff run throughout the 2026-27 season, delivering comprehensive coverage to fans across the Halifax region and beyond.
The partnership ensures that Mooseheads supporters will have access to every faceoff, goal, and game-changing moment throughout what is shaping up to be an exciting 2026-27 campaign. Bolstered by the addition of several promising new players and a roster expected to compete among the league’s top teams, the Mooseheads enter the season with renewed excitement for fans across the region.

The broadcasts will once again feature Garreth MacDonald, who returns as the long-time play-by-play voice of the Halifax Mooseheads. MacDonald’s familiar and trusted game calls have become synonymous with Mooseheads hockey, and his return ensures fans will continue to enjoy the high-quality coverage they have come to expect.
The Halifax Mooseheads open their 2026-27 season on Friday, September 18th in Cape Breton followed by the Home Opener at Scotiabank Centre on Saturday, September 19th at 7pm versus the rival Moncton Wildcats.
