Claude Giroux added to Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game roster
Toronto – The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Claude Giroux of the Gatineau Olympiques has been added to the roster of players who will compete in the annual Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Ottawa, ON on Wednesday January 18, 2006.
Giroux was named to replace Bryce Swan of the Halifax Mooseheads who is unable to play in the game due to injury.
The Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will showcase 40 of the CHL’s top players that are eligible for selection in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. The players were selected by the National Hockey League’s 30 teams.
The 2006 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will be broadcast live across Canada on Rogers Sportsnet and RDS. The event will also feature a skills competition on Tuesday January 17 at Scotiabank Place.
