CHL Game Worn Jerseys Now Available Online
Check out the CHL Auction page to place a bid on a variety of game-worn jerseys from the SUBWAY Super Series and the Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game featuring some of the top 2011 NHL Entry Draft prospects from the Canadian Hockey League.
The CHL Auction site is hosted by Vigorate, and is now underway. There will be several phases of the auction with new game worn jerseys available for bid weekly from now until September 11, 2011. Many of these prospects have been drafted in this year’s NHL Entry Draft that was held on June 24th and 25th, 2011.
Bidding on the third phase of jerseys commenced on July 4th and with bids closing at 11:59 pm Eastern on Monday July 11th.
Here are the jersey’s that are currently available for bid:
Scott Harrington – Team OHL # 6 from the 2010 SUBWAY Super Series.
Harrington participated in the 2010 Subway Super Series that was held in London, Ontario on November 11, 2011. Although Harrington did not record any points in the 4-0 win against Team Russia, he was a solid shut down defenseman. Harrington was drafted in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in the second round, 51st overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Guillaume Asselin – Team QMJHL # 38 from the 2010 SUBWAY Super Series.
Asselin wore this jersey in two games against Team Russia at the 2010 Subway Super Series game held in Saint John, New Brunswick and Drummondville, Quebec. Asselin accumulated 2 penalty minutes in both games and finished with a plus one rating. He had career highs in goals with 35 and points with 82 this year with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens.
Ty Rattie – Team WHL # 9 from the 2010 SUBWAY Super Series.
Rattie wore this jersey as part of a 5-2 loss to Team Russia in the 2010 Subway Super Series. A higly touted prospect this year, Rattie set career highs in all categories including games played, goals, assist and points with 79 as a member of the Portland Winterhawks. Rattie was taken in the second round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, 32nd overall by the St. Louis Blues
Joe Morrow – Team Cherry from the 2011 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
Morrow wore this jersey as part of a 7-1 loss to Team Orr in the Home Hardware Top Prospects game that was held in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on January 19th, 2011. Morrow, who plays for the Portland Winterhawks, was a first round selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Ryan Strome – Team Cherry from the 2011 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game
Strome participated in the Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game that was held in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on January 19th, 2011. He recorded 106 points with the Niagara Ice Dogs this past year. Strome was taken with the fifth overall pick by the New York Islanders in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Nathan Beaulieu – Team Orr from the 2011 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game
Beaulieu recorded one goal and two penalty minutes in the 7-1 win against Team Cherry in the Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game that was held in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. Beaulieu was also a member of the 2011 MasterCard Memorial Cup Championship Team, the Saint John Sea Dogs. Beaulieu was selected in the first round, 17th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
