CHL Game Worn Jerseys Available Online
Check out the CHL Auction page to place a bid on a variety of game-worn jerseys from the SUBWAY Super Series and the Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game featuring some of the top players from the Canadian Hockey League.
The CHL Auction site is hosted by Vigorate, and is now underway. There will be several phases of the auction with new game worn jerseys available for bid weekly from now until September 11, 2011.
Many of these players were selected in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft June 24-25.
Bidding on the second phase of jerseys commenced on June 27 with bids closing at 11:59 pm Eastern on Monday July 4th.
Here are the jersey’s that are currently available for bid:
Tyler Toffoli – Team OHL #16 from the 2010 SUBWAY Super Series.
Toffoli wore this jersey when he recorded one assist as part of a 4-0 win for Team OHL against Team Russia on November 11th in London, Ontario. Toffoli currently plays for the Ottawa 67’s and recorded 57 goals and 108 points and tied for the OHL scoring title. Toffoli was drafted in the 2nd round, 47th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 2010.
Phillip Danault – Team Cherry #21 from the 2011 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
Danault participated in the 2011 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects game with Team Cherry. He currently plays for the Victoriaville Tigers and recorded 23 goals and 67 points in 2010-11 and was selected in the first round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft 26th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks.
Linden Vey – Team WHL #15 from the 2010 SUBWAY Super Series.
Vey wore this jersey for Team WHL in the SUBWAY Super Series games in Kamloops and Prince George, BC, on November 17 and 18, 2011. Vey recorded one goal and one assist and was a plus-1 in two games during the Subway Super Series. This season Vey won the CHL scoring title with the Medicine Hat Tigers with 116 points and was drafted in the 4th round, 96 overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings.
Dougie Hamilton – Team Orr #27 from the 2011 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
Hamilton wore this jersey as part of a 7-1 win with Team Orr against Team Cherry in the Home Hardware Top Prospects game that was held in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on January 19th, 2011. Hamilton was named an assistant captain and recorded one goal in the game. The OHL and CHL Scholastic Player of the Year, Hamilton was drafted 9th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Jordan Binnington – Team Orr #31 from the 2011 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game
Binnington participated with Team Orr in the 2011 Home Hardware Top Prospects Game and was credited with the win in between the pipes. He played a large role for the Owen Sound Attack in their run to the OHL Championship and was also named to the MasterCard Memorial Cup All Star Team in Mississauga where he was the top goaltender. Binnington was then selected in the third round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues.
