Benjamin Breault of the Baie Comeau Drakkar named CHL Player of the Week
The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Benjamin Breault of the Baie Comeau Drakkar is the CHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday March 2 after scoring six goals and three assists for nine points in three games.
Breault started the week with two goals and two assists in an 8-3 win over the Shawinigan Cataractes on Wednesday. He scored two goals and an assists in a 7-3 win over the Drummondville Voltigeurs on Friday and finished the week with two goals in a 4-2 win over the Chicoutimi Sagueneens on Sunday. Breault was named first star in all three games.
Breault, a 19-year-old from Pembroke, Ontario, has 34 games and 38 assists for 72 points in 57 games this season.
Taylor Hall of the Windsor Spitfires was the OHL nominee after scoring three goals and four assists for seven points in three games and Victor Bartley of the Regina Pats was the WHL nominee after scoring one goal and five assists for six points in three games.
