Welcome to the 2017 CHL Playoff Predictor Contest. Below you’ll find information on the contest timelines, rules, and prizing to get you ready to play #CHLPredictor!
How Do I Play?
The #CHLPredictor game is now officially open! Picks for round 4 are now open. Deadline to submit your picks for the final round is Thursday, May 4th at 7pm ET. A single correct prediction will get you a ballot in the draw for the Grand Prize trip to the Mastercard Memorial Cup.
If you’ve already participated make sure to get your picks in for the next round to stay in contention for the overall point leader prizes. If you didn’t play in the previous rounds, there are still lots of great prizes for you to win! Sign up to play in the remaining rounds and win round prizes and ballots toward the overall grand prize trip to the Mastercard Memorial Cup!
Once registration is complete simply make your picks for each of the series from that round and you’ll accumulate points based on how many series you get correct. You’ll also earn a ballot toward the grand prize for every correct pick, so no matter if you’re joining in prior to the first round or the fourth round you’ll have a chance at the grand prize if you get just one series pick correct. Come back before the start of each playoff round to make your picks for the next round.
Rules and Regulations
Grand Prize –
The grand prize is a trip for two to the 2017 or 2018 Mastercard Memorial Cup that will be awarded by ballot draw. Each correct series pick throughout the 2017 CHL Playoffs earns you a ballot in the draw for the grand prize. Grand prize includes:
– Transportation to the host city
– 3 Nights Hotel
– Semi-Final and Final Game Tickets
– Local Transportation in host city
– Mastercard Memorial Cup Prize Pack
Point Prizes –
Point prizes are awarded to this highest point getters (i.e. the person with the most correct series picks) throughout the CHL playoffs. Points will be awarded for first, second, and third place and any point ties will be decided by a ballot draw between those parties that are tied.
First in Points – $200 Prepaid Mastercard, Signed Top Prospects Team Jersey, Signed Top Prospects Player jersey (winner can choose Yamamoto, Dubois, Debrincat), CHL Coat, CCM Hat
Second in Points – Signed Top Prospects Team Jersey and $50 Prepaid Mastercard
Third in Points – Signed Top Prospects Team Jersey
Round Prizes –
Round prizes are awarded to the leading point getter in each of the first three rounds of the playoffs. In the event of a tie, a draw will be conducted between the tied parties for each round. The prize for each round is a signed Top Prospects team jersey.
The Round 1 winner was decided by a ballot draw of the eligible leaders who got 22/24 first round match-ups correct. The winner of a signed Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects jersey was Jenna Anderson of Erie, PA.
The Round 2 winner was decided by a ballot draw of the eligible leaders who got 11/12 second round match-ups correct. The winner of a signed Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects jersey was Joanne Lamont of Port Elgin, Ontario.
The Round 3 winner was decided by a ballot draw of the eligible leaders who got 6/6 third round match-ups correct. The winner of a signed Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects jersey was Mabel Trager of Albany, California.
