LAURENCELLE SCORES FOUR TIMES AS SILVERTIPS CONQUER CHIEFS
Remi Laurencelle put on a show by scoring four goals to propel the Everett Silvertips to a 7-4 victory over the Spokane Chiefs. Laurencelle also registered an assist to cap off a five point night and claim first star honours. Chiefs forward Kailer Yamamoto scored twice and added an assist to earn second star mentions. Everett has won three in a row while Spokane has dropped three straight.

Reid Duke led the offence for the Brandon Wheat Kings with three points (2g-1a) in the Club’s 5-3 nod over the Kamloops Blazers. Nolan Patrick contributed with a goal and an assist to go along with a plus-2 rating. Brandon outshot Kamloops by a wide margin, 42-22 and finished 1 /2 on the power play.

ROCKETS 1, WARRIORS 0
Jackson Whistle gathered his second shutout of the year and first star honours as he turned aside 27 shots to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 1-0 win against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Rockets forward Dillon Dube tallied the lone goal on a Kelowna power play late in the middle frame. Warriors goaltender Zach Sawchenko countered with 22 saves of his own in a strong effort.

HURRICANES 7, BLADES 4
The WHL’s most powerful offence was at it again as the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the Saskatoon Blades 7-4. Four different skaters collected three point outings, including defenceman Andrew Nielsen and rookie forward Egor Babenko with a goal and two assists each. Blades forward Cameron Hebig and Connor Gay recorded three points each (1g-2a) as well in a losing cause.

ROYALS 3, GIANTS 4
Chase Lang buried his 10th goal of the season at the 18:13 mark of the third period to give the Vancouver Giants a 4-3 win over the Victoria Royals. Vancouver and Victoria concluded their fourth straight regular season meeting with the Giants taking three out of the four games. Giants forward Trevor Cox chipped in with a pair of helpers in the win.
