Tyler Sandhu scored a pair of goals as the Tri-City Americans topped the Portland Winterhawks 4-2. Americans goaltender Evan Sarthou stopped 30 of 32 Winterhawks shots to earn his fourth win of the season. Tri-City went 2/4 on the power play and Portland capitalized once in seven total power play tries.

Austin Glover broke a scoreless tie as he scored with 14 seconds remaining in the third period to give the Prince Albert Raiders a 1-0 edge over the Kootenay ICE. Prince Albert has won four consecutive games.

Dryden Hunt recorded three points (1g-2a) as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Edmonton Oil Kings by a 3-2 margin. Warriors goaltender Zach Sawchenko stopped 29 of 31 shots and Patrick Dea countered with 25 saves for Edmonton. The Oil Kings have lost four straight games in regulation.

The Kelowna Rockets put on a dominating performance over the Prince George Cougars as they came out with a 6-2 road win. Rockets forward Tyson Baillie was all over the score sheet tallying a short-handed marker and a power play goal to give him nine goals of the season. Baillie also registered three assists to cap off a five point night. Herringer was consistent for the Rockets in making 35 saves to post his second win of the campaign.

The Kamloops Blazers scored five unanswered goals to hand the Spokane Chiefs their fifth straight loss with a 5-1 win. Gage Quinney who was newly acquired from the Kelowna Rockets in a trade earlier this week recorded three points (1g-2a) and was named the game’s first star. The two Clubs played a well-disciplined game only posting a total of four minutes in penalties.

ROYALS 2, THUNDERBIRDS 4
Keegan Kolesar had a strong outing with a goal and two assists as the Seattle Thunderbirds beat the Victoria Royals by a score of 4-2. Kolesar scored his fifth goal of the season late in the second period to give the Thunderbirds a 3-0 win and the goal proved to be the game winner. Seattle finished one-for-four on the power play and went a perfect 5/5 on the penalty kill.
