RAIDERS OUTSHOOT WARRIORS 52-31 TO CRUISE TO A 7-2 WIN
The Prince Albert Raiders had seven different skaters find the back of the net in their 7-2 defeat against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Raiders forward Reid Gardiner tallied three assists and finished the game with a plus-3 rating while teammate Simon Stransky recorded a three point performance (1g-2a) as well. It was a physical match-up with the two Clubs receiving a combined eight fighting majors and three misconduct penalties.

BRONCOS 2, HURRICANES 3 (OT)
Ryley Lindgren was the hero for the Lethbridge Hurricanes as his overtime winner gave Lethbridge the 3-2 win over the Swift Current Broncos. Egor Babenko registered two points (1g-1a) for the Hurricanes as they outshot the Broncos 40-28 in the win. The Hurricanes have won five in a row while the Broncos have dropped four straight.

BLADES 4, ICE 3 (OT)
Cameron Hebig netted his eighth goal of the season in overtime as the Saskatoon Blades downed the Kootenay ICE 4-3. Blades defenceman Libor Hajek contributed with a goal and two assists to go along with a plus-3 rating. ICE team captain Luke Philp notched a goal and an assist to claim first star honours, albeit in a losing cause.

TIGERS 1, REBELS 3
Rylan Toth was consistent in goal for the Red Deer Rebels in their 3-1 win against the Medicine Hat Tigers. Toth stopped 40 of 41 shots to earn his seventh win of the season and was named the game’s first star. The Tigers pressed in the third period outshooting the Rebels 20-9 in the frame but only got a single goal from defenceman Ty Stanton.

HITMEN 4, BLAZERS 2
The Calgary Hitmen hung on to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Kamloops Blazers. The Hitmen built their lead to 3-0 minutes into the third period with a goal from forward Jordy Stallard. The Blazers got goals from Jesse Zaharichuk and Jake Kryski to cut the lead to 3-2 but could not complete the comeback and fell short.

COUGARS 2, ROCKETS 5
Dillon Dube scored twice to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 5-2 victory against the Prince George Cougars. Dube also notched an assist to cap off a three point night and claim first star honours. Kelowna went 1-7 on the power play while Prince George finished 0-5.

WHEAT KINGS 5, AMERICANS 3
The Brandon Wheat Kings enjoyed two goals from Rihards Bukarts as they topped the Tri-City Americans 5-3 to extend their point streak to eight straight. Wheat Kings forward and reigning Rookie of the Year Nolan Patrick tallied a pair of assists and a plus-2 rating in the win. Brandon won the battle in shots on goal, outshooting Tri-City by a 34-24 margin.

ROYALS 1, CHIEFS 2
The Spokane Chiefs snapped a six-game losing streak by defeating the Victoria Royals 2-1 on Friday night. The Yamamoto brothers scored the goals for Spokane with Keanu and Kailer netting one apiece. Chiefs goaltender Tyson Verhelst was terrific in backstopping 31 Royals shots to post the win. Royals netminder Coleman Vollrath was steady in making 35 saves but Victoria has now lost four straight games in regulation.

The Portland Winterhawks picked up a road victory over the Everett Silvertips with a 2-0 win. Goaltender Adin Hill stopped all 31 shots he faced to get the shutout and earn first star honours. Carter Hart had a strong performance in net for the Silvertips as he made 25 saves and claimed second star honours in a losing cause.

The Seattle Thunderbirds continue their outstanding start to the 2015-16 campaign after beating the Vancouver Giants 3-1. Seattle has earned points in eight straight contests going 7-0-1-0 over that period. Forwards Mathew Barzal and Alexander True each collected a goal and an assist in the win.
