OIL KINGS WIN A CLASSIC IN OVERTIME AGAINST WHEAT KINGS
Andrew Koep scored the overtime winner as the Edmonton Oil Kings dethroned the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-3. Oil Kings forward Lane Bauer chipped in offensively with a goal and an assist. Edmonton outshot Brandon 43-24 in the contest and have now earned points in four straight games.

ROCKETS 1, SILVERTIPS 3
The Everett Silvertips played shutdown hockey as they beat the Kelowna Rockets 3-1. The Silvertips limited Kelowna to only 16 shots on goal, including only two against in the first period altogether. Silvertips forward Remi Laurencelle was named the game’s first star with a goal and an assist.

The Kamloops Blazers rifled 42 shots on goal to beat the Victoria Royals 4-1 on home ice Friday. Blazers forward Matt Revel and Collin Shirley each had two points (1g-1a) to lead the offence.

BRONCOS 3, PATS 4 (OT)
Adam Brooks scored with a second remaining in overtime to give the Regina Pats a 4-3 win over East Division rival, the Swift Current Broncos. Brooks also tallied two assists while teammate Sam Steel notched a goal and an assist in the win. Broncos forward Tyler Steenbergen tallied two assists in a losing cause.

RAIDERS 1, BLADES 6
The Saskatoon Blades scored three times on the power play en route to a big 6-1 win against the Prince Albert Raiders. Ryan Graham and Bryton Sayers each scored twice for Saskatoon as they scored five unanswered goals after Raiders forward Matteo Gennaro scored in the middle frame to tie the game at 1-1.
