Spokane Chiefs and Seattle Thunderbirds Game 5 Re-Scheduled to Saturday
The Western Hockey League and the Spokane Chiefs have announced that game five of the first round with the Seattle Thunderbirds will be played on Saturday, March 28th at 7:00 pm in the Spokane Arena. The game was originally scheduled for Friday, March 27th.
“We didn’t think it would be fair to ask sports fans in our community to choose between watching Gonzaga in the NCAA tournament or attending a Chiefs playoff game,” Chiefs Vice President Mark Miles said. “We appreciate the flexibility of the Seattle Thunderbirds and the Arena, along with the approval of the WHL Office, with the rescheduling of the game.”
Ticket package holders should use ticket “C” for Saturday night.
The series is currently tied at one with games three and four being played in Seattle on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Chiefs earned a 2-1 win last Friday night in the Arena with Drayson Bowman scoring a pair of goals while the Thunderbirds countered with a 2-1 win of their own on Saturday night.
Tickets to Saturday night’s game five are currently on sale at the Chiefs office by calling (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.
