RUSSIA:

Ivan Provorov (Brandon Wheat Kings) tallied an assist and earned a plus-1 rating as Russia improved its record to 3-0 at the 2016 World Junior Championship.

SWITZERLAND:

Dario Meyer (Edmonton Oil Kings) scored a goal while recording three shots as Team Switzerland fell to Canada in a shootout 3-2. Calvin Thurkauf (Kelowna Rockets) had two penalty minutes and registered two shots on goal in the loss.
