A four-goal first period by the Warriors sealed Brandon’s fate in Game 4. Captain Denton Mateychuk, Rilen Kovacevic, Atley Calvert, Lynden Lakovic, Buffalo Sabres prospect Matthew Savoie and Seattle Kraken prospect Jagger Firkus all scored a goal and assist each as Moose Jaw completed a First Round sweep for a second-straight season.

Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Denton Mateychuk capped off the series with a goal and an assist.
The Moose Jaw Captain snagged points in all four games of the series (two goals, five assists), highlighted by a one-goal, two-assist effort in Game 3.
He’s riding an eight-game point streak that’s seen him post three goals and 11 assists dating back to March 15 in the regular season.
Mateychuk is tied with Portland Winterhawks defenceman Luca Cagnoni for most points by a blueliner this postseason with seven each.
