WHL Announces Conference Award Winners

Panthers prospect Hunt, Red Wings prospect Hicketts up for Four Broncos Memorial Trophy.

 

Calgary, AB – The Western Hockey League announced today Eastern and Western Conference individual award winners for its 50^th Season.

 

All individual conference award winners will be eligible for League awards at the 2016 WHL Awards in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, May 4^th.

 

2015-16 WHL Conference Award Winners:

 

WHL Executive of the Year (Lloyd Saunders Memorial Trophy)

Eastern Conference Executive of the Year – Peter Anholt, Lethbridge Hurricanes

Western Conference Executive of the Year – Cameron Hope, Victoria Royals

 

WHL Coach of the Year (Dunc McCallum Memorial Trophy)

WHL Most Sportsmanlike Player of the Year (Brad Hornung Trophy)
