Silvertips Complete Sweep of Winterhawks with 4-2 Victory in Game 4
SILVERTIPS SWEEP WINTERHAWKS, ADVANCE TO ROUND 2 AFTER 4-2 WIN OVER WINTERHAWKS
The Everett Silvertips completed the sweep as they defeated the Portland Winterhawks by a score of 4-2 in Game 4. Silvertips defenceman Cole MacDonald potted his first two goals of the playoffs that included the eventual game winner late in the second period on a power play. Everett advances to Round 2 of the 2016 WHL Playoffs and will take on the Seattle Thunderbirds.

THUNDERBIRDS 4, COUGARS 3 (OT)
Nolan Volcan scored 34 seconds into overtime for the Seattle Thunderbirds who completed the sweep over the Prince George Cougars by a 4-3 score. Mathew Barzal was a playmaker on the ice as he registered three assists for Seattle. Cougars alternate captain Chase Witala collected two points (1g-1a) in a losing cause. Seattle advances to Round 2 of the 2016 WHL Playoffs and will face U.S. Division rival, the Everett Silvertips beginning on Friday, April 8th in Seattle.

Jayce Hawryluk recorded three helpers to lead the Brandon Wheat Kings to a 3-1 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings in playoff action. Wheat Kings netminder Jordan Papirny was solid as he turned aside 34 of 35 shots. Brandon took advantage of their power play chances, going 2/8 while Edmonton was scoreless in two power play opportunities. Edmonton leads the series 2-1.

Tyler Brown picked up where he left off with another solid performance in goal for the Regina Pats in their 2-0 shutout win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Brown made 32 saves, including 14 in the first period to pick up his second shutout of the post-season. Regina leads the series 3-1.

Alex Forsberg netted the overtime winner at the 8:41 mark to give the Victoria Royals a 3-2 win over the Spokane Chiefs. Griffen Outhouse got the start in goal for the Royals and he was steady as he turned aside 30 shots in the win. Victoria now leads the series 3-1 over Spokane.

The Kamloops Blazers roared for three goals in the opening frame en route to a 5-1 win against the Kelowna Rockets. Collin Shirley lit the lamp twice, tallied an assist and was a plus-4 in what was a productive outing. Shots were 38-38 apiece as the series shifts back to Kelowna for Game 5 all tied up at 2-2.
