Schedule released for Round Two series between Portland and Everett
The Portland Winterhawks and Everett Silvertips are all set to tangle once again in the WHL Playoffs.
Portland knocked Everett out in the first round of the 2023 postseason in Round One in five games.
The third-seed ‘Tips advanced with a Game 5 victory over Vancouver in the Western Conference Quarterfinals, while the second-seed Portland swept the Royals.
The Winterhawks owned a 6-2-0-0 record against the Silvertips in the 2023-24 regular season, though one victory came in the shootout and Everett was one of only two teams to shut out Portland this year.
This will be the eighth time the Winterhawks and Silvertips have met in the postseason. Portland has won four of those matchups while Everett will look to even the score with a fourth victory.
The U.S. Division powerhouses will clash in their Western Conference Semifinal series starting on Friday, April 12 in Portland.
