Barzal Scores Twice, Thunderbirds Tie Series Up at 1-1

The Seattle Thunderbirds rebounded in Game 2 on Sunday night as they clipped the Everett Silvertips 3-1. Thunderbirds alternate captain Mathew Barzal netted his first two goals of the post-season, including the game winner to claim first star honours. Seattle outshot Everett 33-24 and tied the series up at 1-1 with the victory.

PATS 3, REBELS 4
The Regina Pats clicked for three power play goals but it was the Red Deer Rebels that skated away to a 4-3 win. With the score tied 3-3 midway through the final frame, Rebels forward Adam Musil notched his second goal of the playoffs with assists from Josh Mahura and Evan Polei. Red Deer leads the series 2-0.
