WHEAT KINGS EXTEND DEADLINES
Brandon, MB. — Due to a large volume of calls and renewals, the Brandon Wheat Kings have announced plans to extend their Western Hockey League Playoff and 2014-15 Season Ticket renewal deadline to Thursday, March 20th at 5pm.
By renewing next year’s season tickets and this year’s playoff packages, fans will not only get their season tickets at this year’s price – the Wheat Kings will provide those that do with their first two 2014 home playoff games for free.
Fresh off a 3-game winning streak to end the regular season, the Wheat Kings will now spend the week preparing for their best of seven Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series against the Regina Pats.
Regina will host games one and two this weekend, before the series will shift to Westman Communications Group Place for games three and four on Wednesday and Friday, March 26th and 28th respectively.

Season Ticket prices for the 2014-15 season will be increasing to $450 for adults, $400 for seniors and $200 for youth (18 and under) after the June Early Bird Deadline. At just over $12 per game, Wheat Kings’ season tickets remain the most affordable in the 22-team WHL.
For those fans that do order by the deadline, they will be able to pick up their playoff ticket package on Monday, March 24th at the Wheat Kings office.
Speaking of tickets, single game playoff tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 21st at 11am at the Keystone Centre box office. Western Manitoba hockey fans can also order online at www.wheatkings.com or by calling (204) 726-3555.
By qualifying for post-season play this year the Wheat Kings have now advanced to the WHL playoffs in 21 of the last twenty-three seasons.
During the season series between the Wheat Kings and Pats, Brandon won five including all four on home ice.
