MNP Most Valuable Team Returns

Young athletes and their coaches from the Westman area will be able to attend Brandon Wheat Kings games live this season, thanks to MNP. They’re bringing back the popular “Most Valuable Team” program for 2023-24.

This program, introduced by MNP several years ago and highly popular with youth athletes, not only supports those same athletes but also recognizes the efforts of their coaches, whose hard work and long volunteer hours help shape the athletes and people of the future.

As part of this program, 25 seats at every Brandon Wheat Kings Saturday home game will be awarded to youth sports teams and their coaches. The MNP MVT program is open to western Manitoba athletes ages eight to seventeen and their coaches or assistant coaches, and is open to all sorts of athletic programs from hockey teams to swimming programs to high school athletics and more.

In addition to the tickets, all winning teams will receive a complimentary Wheat Kings T-shirt. As well, each week the winning team will be introduced during the game on the Video Scoreboard at Westoba Place.
