Stream the West Coast Trip FREE
14 days, 7 cities, 7 games. It’s the annual west coast trip for the Brandon Wheat Kings with the first stop in Lethbridge on January 21st for a match up with the Hurricanes. Brandon will take on Everett on January 23rd, Portland on the 24th, Seattle on the 27th, Wenatchee on the 28th, Tri-City on the 30th, and Spokane on the 31st to round it out. The BWK will not see home ice again until February 6 when they take on the Calgary Hitmen.
The west coast swing has always been something players look forward to not just for the hockey but the team experiences along the way. The Wheaties will do some sight seeing during the time out west, getting to take in a Seattle Kraken game a long with other team bonding activities planned along the way.
The WHL introduced Victory+ to WHL fans this past summer introducing a FREE way to watch all WHL hockey games. With the Brandon Wheat Kings not seeing home action for a little under a month, Victory+ is a great way to continue to cheer on the Wheat Kings from home. The Wheat Kings currently sit 5th in the Eastern Conference behind the Calgary Hitmen and only 1pt ahead of the Saskatoon Blades, so every game on this western swing is a chance to close the gap on Calgary and get home ice advantage heading into the playoffs.
“In the WHL we travel to many different places for multiple games at a time. Victory+ is incredible for fans back home and player’s families or even for us to go back and watch film. We encourage everyone to tune into Wheat Kings Hockey on Victory+ no matter where you are!” – Caleb Hadland, Wheat Kings Captain
