Alex Dixon Joins T-Birds As Equipment Manager

New Equipment Manager Comes to team from Des Moines Buccaneers

KENT, August 13, 2018 — Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Bil La Forge announced the team has hired Alex Dixon as the T-Birds new equipment manager.

Dixon was the equipment manager for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL last season.

Dixon succeeds Trevor Heinzerling, who joined the Colorado Eagles of the AHL this summer as an Assistant Equipment Manager.

Before joining the Buccaneers Dixon spent two seasons with the USA National Team’s Development Program serving as the assistant equipment manager. The previous two years Dixon was the assistant equipment manager for the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL.

The Seattle Thunderbirds start the 2018-19 Western Hockey League regular season against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday, September 22, at 6:05pm at the accesso ShoWare Center.

T-Birds single game tickets for the 2018-19 regular season will go on sale Wednesday, August 22, at 10am online on the T-Birds website and at the accesso ShoWare Center box office.
