Throwback Jerseys: Jan. 1
EVERETT, Wash. – The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips) are scheduled to wear specialty “throwback” style jerseys to celebrate 50 years of the Western Hockey League on New Year’s Day, in a 2:05 p.m. Friday “Throwback Classic” game against the Kelowna Rockets at XFINITY Arena.
All game-ready and “legends” authentic jerseys will be available for fans to purchase in advance (limited to the first 20 transactions). Prices listed at www.everettsilvertips.com/throwback. All fans in attendance can additionally take advantage of a postgame chance drawing which awards remaining available jerseys to lucky entries. The jersey offers a classic “cream” base, Silvertips trademark green trim, and white numbers on back with an Old English “E” logo on the front. Stitched shoulder patches and crest and exclusively customized lettering and font decorate the jerseys, which include tie-down laces at the jersey’s collar.
Five exclusive, one-of-a-kind “legends” jerseys from Silvertips history will also be available for purchase online, offering the following players:
- Mirco Mueller (#25)
- Ryan Murray (#27)
- Mitch Love (#2)
- Peter Mueller (#88)
- Radko Gudas (#3)
The Silvertips will also host a throwback game-ready jersey chance drawing at XFINITY Arena starting this Saturday, in a Dec. 5 home game against the Vancouver Giants. Fans in attendance at each Silvertips home game through Dec. 19, who donate $10 to the Silvertips Education Fund, will be automatically entered to win an available game ready or legends jersey. The winner will be announced, on ice, immediately following the Throwback Classic Game on Jan. 1.
Fans choosing to purchase a game ready jersey in advance via the “buy it now” option are required to officially place their bid by calling the Silvertips offices at (425) 252-5100 or in-person at the Silvertips offices, located at XFINITY Arena, starting Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Noon.
Replica Throwback Classic jerseys, available in Noah Juulsen (#3), Carter Hart (#70) and blank styles, will be available exclusively to season ticket holders and 14-game and 22-game mini plan ticket package holders, who will receive an e-mail soon with instructions on purchasing the jersey of their choice.
